Powder Brows – also called Ombré or Shaded Brows – are a semi-permanent technique that creates a soft, powdered makeup effect. The front of the brow stays light and the colour builds toward the tail for a polished but natural look.
Who powder brows are best for
- Oily, combination or mature skin, where hair strokes can blur
- Clients who like a defined, “made-up” brow without daily makeup
- Correcting asymmetry, gaps or uneven brows
- Refreshing older brow tattoos (after assessment)
Your appointment
Consultation and brow mapping, numbing, then pigment placed with a fine machine needle in soft layers. A perfecting touch-up is recommended about 6–8 weeks later. Touch-up: $80 CAD.
Healing and aftercare
- Days 1–5: brows look bold and darker – this softens by 30–40%.
- Days 5–10: light flaking; do not pick.
- Weeks 4–6: final healed colour.
- Keep the area dry and makeup-free during healing, avoid sweating and swimming, and use SPF once healed.
